The Ohio prison inmates listed below have been sentenced to death and face their own murders for convictions of Aggravated Murder. Male inmates are housed at the Ohio State Penitentiary or the Chillicothe Correctional Institution. Executions take place at the Southern Ohio Correctional Facility in Lucasville. Female death row inmates are housed at the Ohio Reformatory for Women in Marysville. There is currently one female on death row in Ohio.
The list is current as of September 30, 2011. There are a total of 148 inmates on death row in Ohio:
147 men, 1 woman (75 African American men; 65 Caucasian men; 4 Hispanic men; 1 Native Americans; 2 Arab American; 1 Caucasian female).
